just to start it off...
i am pro-abortion, woot. yay! .........
um, i realize if i just state the one line up there, which i was going to leave it at..then it would be pointless and stupid...i know i'm spelling wrong Grammar Nazis, i have a visa!
anyways i think abortion is right because...( i can feel my homework crying)
1. "all life is precious", blah..so on and so forth >.>...ahaha you know what? what if the baby cannot be cared for and the possibility of an orphanage or some sort of support is not available? you just made another precious soul suffer let that be on your conscious
2. i don't really like the idea of putting an end to almost fully developed babys but hey if the things is still an embryo than go for it. think of it this way- whenever girls have their periods the egg got KILLED what are you gonna do about those?
i know there's more i'm just too lazy i'm sorry. typing this much makes me

Re: ABORTION ABORTION! C-SECTION, C-SECTION.
That's actually kind of interesting.
People for abortion tend to call it pro-choice. Saying pro-abortion is kind of akin to saying ABORT EVERY BABY, no?
I can give the arguments on both sides for this, but I'm going to just say general ideas.
Pro-choice says:
That women should have the choice to have abortion.
Pro-life says:
That even embryos should have the chance to live.
Take your side(or neither) And justify it! I intend to stay a bit.. non-sided on this. But I may favor Pro-choice.

1. "all life is precious", blah..so on and so forth >.>...ahaha you know what? what if the baby cannot be cared for and the possibility of an orphanage or some sort of support is not available? you just made another precious soul suffer let that be on your conscious
common sense teaches us that 'a good end cannot justify bad means'. you don't want the baby to suffer, so you would rather end the suffering by killing the precious life? even though the intention of preventing a possible future suffering is good, if the means used to achieve that is bad (i.e. killing), it can't be morally justified... and what if you were the fetus? what about the suffering the fetus goes through (i'm not gonna describe the cruelties of the abortion procedure here)? i'd rather be born and go through the suffering that people think the babies of unwanted pregnancy go through.
all life IS precious. it is a GIFT from our heavenly Father. who are we to decide to take it away? based on "what if"s & "possibilities" of suffering and terrible life he/she might have? Pope John Paul II said in the Capitol Mall in Washington, D.C., on 1979-OCT-07: "...all human life -- from the moment of conception and through all subsequent stages -- is sacred, because human life is created in the image and likeness of God."
2. i don't really like the idea of putting an end to almost fully developed babys but hey if the things is still an embryo than go for it. think of it this way- whenever girls have their periods the egg got KILLED what are you gonna do about those?
at the heart of the abortion debate is when the "personhood" starts. almost all abortion debaters (both pro-choicers & pro-lifers) agree on one thing: that once human life in the form of an ovum and spermatozoon become a human person, then that person's life should be protected. but they differ greatly on when human personhood is achieved.
first of all, there's a consensus among almost all abortion debaters that ovum (egg) is a not a "human person". so egg doesn't get killed. disagreement starts from conception. Is it a human person at the time of conception? or when heart begins beating? or when its face looks human? or when it's neurologically active? or when the woman first feels the fetus move? or at birth? pro-lifers would argue human person starts at conception or earlier stages in the pregnancy. pro-choicers argue it starts late in the pregnancy, at birth, or few weeks after the birth.
the thing is we don't know and can't prove when the human person starts. or when the "ensoulment" happens. shouldn't we at least err on the side of life? if we are killing 3000 fetuses a day that at least have the possibility of being human persons, shouldn't we protect them just to be sure?
finally, the Roman Catholic church teaching on abortion: an abortion at any stage of pregnancy can never be a moral choice, unless it happens as an unintended side-effect of a medical procedure that is required to save the life of a pregnant woman.
i recognize that there may be certain medical & complex situations that the abortion may seem like the least worse option, but i personally believe that if we do pray for the right course of action from our heavenly father and make our decision out of Love, Love for ourself, Love for the unborn baby, and Love for Him, our decision will almost always match that of above church teaching.
believe it or not, i tried to make this as short as possible
